Nablus, Palestine — since 1921
Ten institutions built by the women of Nablus: a hospital, a nursing college, homes for orphaned and blind girls, and vocational training that opens the door to work.
The Arab Women Union Society was founded in Nablus in 1921, led by successive elected boards of the city’s women who left a clear mark on Palestinian charitable work.
Its work moved from direct aid to institution building, expanding into health and education as the foundations of social service. Today, ten institutions and centres serve thousands of families.
From the hospital to the nursing college, from orphan care to vocational training, each centre serves people who need us.
